Subject Bidding Rants

July 31st, 2007 Comments(1)

CORS is a piece of shit and BBA undergrads are retarded and uncooperative. Bidding thousands of points for a bloody core module? You've got to be kidding me. Fuck Managerial Accounting. I'll take it next semester.

Chilly Weather

It's been rather chilly lately, for some strange reason. Which is probably why my dad did this:

Why, is he afraid of that creepy doll getting cold? o.O

The All-Important Question

Everyone keeps asking me who died in the final book of Harry Potter. Well, stop asking me. Look here. Now you don't even need to read the book anymore! :)

My personal comment about the book: Can the ending be more cliche?!

Maxthon Rocks

I tried to make the switch over to Firefox yesterday night, but I just couldn't. I love how fast everything loads, but I just couldn't do without the bells and whistles that Maxthon provides.

And this morning, I downloaded Maxthon v2, and I'm completely sold. I don't care if IE sucks, Firefox just can't measure up to Maxthon, even after I tried to look for all the extensions that duplicate Maxthon's functions (a lot can't be found).

After a while, it just hit me... why am I spending time trying to configure Firefox to work exactly like Maxthon? Firefox won't block ads as superbly as Maxthon anyway!

Alternative To Acrobat Reader

Throw away your Adobe Acrobat Reader, people. And download Foxit. Acrobat Reader is such a piece of seriously bloated, laggy software. Foxit loads so fast, it's amazing.

How To Kill A Guy In 10 Days

Wouldn't you like to know? Amazon.com thought that I would enjoy this book.

How interesting. Apparently I have some psycho man-killer tendencies that have yet to emerge.

The Vainpot In Me

So after enduring half a year of pimple after pimple, I decided enough is enough and switched my skincare to the very expensive (to me) Fancl products. Cessy suggested that I go to the National Skin Centre or something but it just didn't make sense to me since I wasn't getting any outbreaks or acne, just single, isolated pimples that pop out after the previous one heals.

*Crosses fingers and hope they work*

Feeling Broke

What the hell do parents do in September? It's going to take a whole year of savings to repair the damage I spent on birthdays last month. Sounds like a good time to go on a diet to me. Eat less, spend less, lose a portion of the 4kg (!!!) I've put on since the Hong Kong trip and subsequent bingeing.
